Last Christmas day, Chris, Oliver and me went to the church in the Mochou road. It is a Christ church, every year when it is Christmas day, it will has a activity that remember Jesus.

When we arrived there, the activity was start, I saw some people were singing. They sang vey beautiful and seriously. There were many christians there, everyone were serious. I felt boring because I cannot understood what they sang and I am atheist. So, I went out when I took the small book. I took a walk with myself around the church. The church was built very solemn and it looks vicissitudes because there were many goto on the wall. The garden of church was quit, it seems isolated. Some voice come out from inside of church. That was comfortable. How good life is...

After we finished in the church, we felt relaxed and a new feeling of things. That was good, although I did not like the song. Hehe...

Volunteer Work

This Thursday, in the April 30th, Tim, Oliver, Gerry and me went to Jinglin Library to do the volunteer work. When we arrived the Library, they did not surprise because there were many students came before.

At the beganing, they did not find suit work for us. After half-hour, a man called Director Sun came and let us went down to the first floor. We went to the Visually impaired Reeding Room. He took us to the deep inside of the room and let us arrange the book. Those books have the number, such as 14200 etc. We need put the 142***,143***'s books together, we thought that was easy before we started, but we all were wrong. The book was very messay, there were many books from another bookshlef and the number was messay too, the 145*** in the 143***... These readers were so rude when they reading--we thought, but I thought they areVisually impaired people, so it was excusable. We spent almost two hours than let books homing and our lumbar were numb and eyes were tired. At that time, many numbers around my head. We felt the work was not easily to do and know the worker were very difficult. I will treasure the chance of study and find a good job in the future. I said these not means I look down to that people, I just want I can live more comfortable than them, I respect everyone are working beacause at least they are live by themselves. I despise that person who has a good body but to be a beggar.

From this activity, I remember one important thing thai reading in a Library--put the book on where it was when I took it. If every one can do this, workers will more relaxed when they work. This called with convenient, easy to own. Every one think more for others, our community will more harmony(he xie和谐).

The GCA Fashion Show

This Monday, I joined the GCA 2009 Fashion Show as a Model. The Show was very successful and perfect.



Our group had work for three weeks for the show, just one hour. The process was difficult but the result was pretty good. I don not know the meaning of Fashion Show specific but I guess teacher want to training our team work. First, we earned the money from sell the pizza. After that, we started design the clothes. We did not have the studio (this is nonsense), so we designed it in the class. We only had four classes to finished our design. Then, we went to Shanxi road to buy the cloth and made clothes. We found a small shop to make our clothes, we thought the store has more credibility. After one week, we knew we were wrong, totally wrong. Store's shopkeeper almost forgot our clothes and they could not found it. Luckily, Rita and Amy found it in a very small cornor. Anyway, we got our clothes in the end.



In the Friday, all the model were practiced for thewalk. The time was very quickly, before the show, I felt very nervous. Even I did not know where can I put my hands. When I walked on the stage, I did not nervous, I felt all the stage were belong to myself. Anyway, the Fashion Show was good, layout and organized were good.

Italian restaurant

Last sunday, my friends and I went to a Italian restaurant to have dinner. I think the restaurant is better than the Switzerland restaurant. It's noodles were not greasy and the environment is better than that.

I have seen the restaurant before, but I never get into it. The restaurant looks not very good from outside. When Laurance told me the restaurant, I almost forgot it, but when I came in it, I feel better because the environment were pretty good. The manager is a kind women, she's English are very good. There are many foreigners come to her restaurant. She was proud for this. She said she know GCA and some teachers always came to this restaurant to have dinner, she also thought our oral are good.

I ordered Italian noodle naturally becuse it is the Italian restaurant. As the same time, I orderede salmon for dim sum, I thought I fooled after it serve. Is not the quality but the quantity. The amount and the price are disproportionte. Its noodle are not too bad, it seems little but very much actually. When we came in it, there were only two tables had people, everyone were quite. Not too much noise. Overall, I think the restaurant is worth to go.

Volunteer Activity

I had done some volunteer work last year. I want to anneal myself, so the first thing I did was helped Ms. Mitschrich and her drama club painting. The other thing is went to KFC to be a volunteer.

The first day I went to drama club was a sunny day, I was excited because I didn't do anything like this. In fact, I did less thing in the first day, I had no ideal with it. I have to made a leaf with staple. Slowly, I did some work well, but someone said my leaves are too small. So, I gave up. The second week, we had a big "wall" to paint. At begining, we all think it is easy and funny. In the course, we met many problem: someone don't know how to use the brush and breach the draw; someone moisten too much water, so the colour was too light; someone moisten too much paint, so the draw was too dark...Anyway, we foul up the first paint. Then, we got a sum up and we keep trying. Finally, we got a successful painting. When the drama on view, we felt very proud.

This Spring Festival, I went to KFC to be a volunteer. I want to know how to make a hamburger. I think it is not very easy but manager told me that is very easy because the material was ready. I was excited that I can have a chance to make a hamburger. First thing is wash my hand carefully. I cannot wait a bit. I got two bread from a box and took some lettuce between them. Then, I got a piece of beef and put some cucumber in it. Final, I put them together. A hamburger was borned. After three days, I felt tired. I thought their work are comfy befor. I know everything are not easy now.

No one can got the pie from sky. The work is very meaningful.
